Hi, I’m Sophie!  At Little Valley Literacy, I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and full of imagination. My play based approach to teaching allows children to explore the world of reading and writing through creativity and hands-on activities.  â€‹â€‹

My experience as a reading teacher made one thing clear—every child learns best when they feel seen, supported, and safe to have fun. I’ve seen amazing progress when lessons are tailored to each student, and even more when play is part of the process. That’s what drew me to tutoring: a chance to keep doing what I love, in a way that really works for kids.
